Job summary

Walla Walla School District is seeking a Civil Rights Compliance Coordinator to oversee Title IX, Section 504/ADA compliance, and district equal access initiatives. You will work with the District HR, school administrators, and the community to ensure policies are followed and complaints are addressed.

The role requires a high level of organization, strong communication, and familiarity with civil rights requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Coaching experience required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to communicate with students, parents, staff and community in an effective and positive manner.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and positive role modelling.

Responsibilities

• Promote the philosophies, values and beliefs of the district athletic program.
• Schedule all athletic contests in coordination with the AD and Transportation.
• Develop and implement systems for equipment, supplies, and uniforms.
• Ensure coaches meet district coaching requirements.
• Maintain safe, attractive, and adequate athletic facilities for games and practices.
• Develop and implement an efficient registration system.
• Hire, assign, and supervise coaches.
