Job summary

Bowie State University seeks an Enrollment Service Specialist to counsel, advise, and resolve inquiries from prospective and current students, parents, faculty, staff, and the public. You will deliver accurate information about enrollment, academic records, financial aid, billing, and housing with a focus on student success.

You will use CRM and student information systems to provide proactive, start-to-finish support, assist with campus events, and communicate clearly with diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Counsel, advise, investigate, and resolve inquiries from students, parents, faculty, staff, and the public.
• Deliver accurate information about enrollment, records, financial aid, billing, and housing with a focus on retention.
• Provide start-to-finish service using professional judgment on simple to minimally complex issues.
• Analyze processes, solve problems, and think critically.
• Operate messaging tools and maintain department websites.
• Proficient with CRM and student information systems like PeopleSoft and CRM tools.
