Job summary

Bowie State University is seeking an Enrollment Services Specialist to provide front-facing customer service across admissions, housing, financial aid, registrar, student accounts, and new student experiences.

You will counsel and resolve inquiries, guide students through enrollment processes, and use university systems to support retention and success. A positive, inclusive approach is essential in a diverse campus environment.

Qualifications

• Front-facing customer service experience with students, families, or staff.
• Ability to advise and resolve inquiries with discretion.
• Experience using university information systems and CRM tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Counsel, advise, investigate, and resolve inquiries for students, families, faculty, and staff.
• Deliver information about course enrollment, financial aid, billing, and housing with a focus on student success.
• Analyze processes, solve problems, and communicate department updates to various audiences.
• Support use of virtual waiting lines, messaging boards, and campus communications.
• Represent enrollment services at events and complete special projects as assigned.
