Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; two years of event management or student-success-related experience preferred.
• Understanding and follow FERPA guidelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot event issues, manage resources, and budget planning.
• Make meaningful decisions for undergraduate student engagement and recognitions.
• Familiarity with social media management, website content management, and newsletter layout.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate first-year student success initiatives and orientation activities.
• Coordinate Living-Learning Communities weekly programming and related events.
• Assist CFAES Student Council and student clubs; support advisors and leaders.
• Oversee daily administrative operations including budgeting, requisitions, room reservations, and vendor purchases.
• Produce weekly newsletters and marketing materials for CFAES events and programs.
• Perform other duties as needed.
