Job summary

Iowa State University’s Academic Success Center seeks an Outreach and Intake Support Specialist to connect students with academic resources and support programs. You will support Success Navigator, Academic Skills workshops, accountability groups, and related operations from Ames, IA.

The role involves coordinating outreach activities, building partnerships across campus, delivering engaging trainings, and maintaining records to improve student engagement and success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience delivering presentations, workshops, or trainings to students or stakeholders.
• Experience using data management/reporting tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
• Experience planning and promoting events or campus initiatives.
• Experience creating marketing/educational materials using design software like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement outreach initiatives connecting students with support programs.
• Build collaborative relationships with campus departments and student organizations.
• Plan and deliver presentations, workshops, and trainings for students and stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at campus events and outreach activities.
• Create and distribute marketing materials to support programs and events.
