If so, the Academic Success Center at Iowa State University is seeking applicants for an Outreach and Intake Support Specialist! This position will be classified as a Student Services Specialist I. The Outreach and Intake Support Specialist will support Success Navigator, Academic Skills workshops, Accountability Groups, and other areas as needed within the Academic Success Center.
The Academic Success Center empowers students to seek academic support and collaborate with our trained peer leaders to promote impactful learning and community for all.
We offer a variety of services through our office, including tutoring, Supplemental Instruction (SI), writing and communication consultations, academic skills coaching, and accountability groups.
While these services are based in our office, we proudly partner with academic departments and support units across campus to expand access to student support.
Our peer educators are certified through the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) Level 1, and our Supplemental Instruction program holds international accreditation, a reflection of our commitment to student development and high-impact learning experiences for all.
