Job summary

Northeastern University seeks a Student Activities & Events Coordinator to develop leadership programs and manage campus-wide events for undergraduate and graduate students. You will engage with student clubs, advisors, and campus partners to create inclusive programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in belonging, inclusion, and community-building work is advantageous.
• Demonstrated expertise in event planning and program management.
• Knowledge of data collection, assessment, and tracking to support data-informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support clubs and organizations through leadership development and advisor/ student support.
• Develop club leadership curriculum and facilitate workshops for reports.
• Lead campus-wide events and coordinate with stakeholders across campus.
• Manage event approvals, vendors, and service providers (catering, security, AV).
• Create reports, publications, and website content as needed; manage budgets and Concur submissions.
