Job summary

Blackstone Valley Prep Mayoral Academy is seeking a data systems professional to manage the SIS and protect student and staff information. You will coordinate annual reporting, system integrations, and training for site and network teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and familiarity with FERPA and RI/US reporting standards. Strong collaboration with schools and the Network team is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining Student Information Systems (SIS) and ensuring privacy for students and staff.
• Ability to gather, validate, and report data to meet state and federal requirements including FERPA.
• Familiarity with data integration and cross-platform workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage SIS and ensure privacy, security, and confidentiality of data.
• Perform annual SIS reporting and integration setup for calendars, attendance, grades, and rosters.
• Serve as liaison between schools and Network team for SIS data collection and integrations.
• Gather site feedback to implement SIS enhancements and streamline data processes.
• Deliver SIS training for teachers, administrators, and network staff.
• Ensure compliance with Rhode Island DOE and US DOE reporting requirements.
