Job summary

The University of Oklahoma's Office of Student Conduct is seeking a Community Standards Specialist to serve as the primary case manager for assigned student conduct cases, guiding them from initial report to final resolution while balancing student advocacy with institutional accountability.

You will collaborate with students, faculty and campus partners to facilitate fair resolution processes, promote student learning and connect students with campus resources that support responsibility,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 12 months in student programming, student services, or closely related experience.
• Equivalency: 48 months related experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of student conduct and conflict resolution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary case manager for an assigned caseload of student conduct cases; determine resolution pathways and draft communications through case lifecycle.
• Develop prompt and equitable investigation plans, interview parties, maintain records, and prepare reports in Maxient.
• Provide developmental support and resource navigation to students during the conduct process; explain policies and connect to campus resources.
• Collaborate with campus departments to support integrated student care.
• Facilitate educational opportunities to promote learning and accountability and support organizational culture change.
• Monitor sanction completion and contribute to program assessment and reporting.
• Support departmental initiatives, staff training, policy review, and workshops.
• Manage documentation, reporting, and program effectiveness; set goals and objectives.
• Perform related duties to fulfill the position.
