Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana is seeking a Financial Aid Advising and Operations professional to respond to inquiries, guide students through financial aid processes, and maintain accurate records. This role also supports Recruitment outreach and enrollment services, with occasional evenings, weekends, and local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in student services, financial aid, enrollment services, recruitment, customer service, or related field preferred.
• Ability to learn and explain financial aid and enrollment policies, procedures, and technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, timely responses to student, staff, and family inquiries via phone, email, ticketing, and in person.
• Advise students and campus colleagues on financial aid eligibility, steps, documentation, and policies.
• Perform data entry, imaging, filing, and maintenance of student financial aid records.
• Process agency forms and run required reports; follow up on issues.
• Assist with scholarship administration and SAP appeals processes.
