ACCEL Schools is seeking an Intervention Specialist at Foundation Academy in Mansfield, Ohio to support students with IEP goals and behavioral development. You will work with teachers to interpret student needs, conduct assessments, and write behavior plans to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current state license required.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience in full room inclusion or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room.
• Growth-focused coaching with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Excellent organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to interpret abilities and disabilities and adapt interventions.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and write behavior improvement plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write IEP goals and objectives.
• Advise a designated group of students and communicate with families about progress.
• Participate in planning of non-instructional activities and events.
