Job summary

The University of Virginia Physicians Group is seeking Federal Work-Study Interns to support the Georges Student Center this Fall 2026. Interns will provide critical customer service, assist with programming, and facilitate events. Applicants should be detail-oriented and enjoy interacting with students and faculty.

Qualifications

• Must be a current undergraduate student at UVA with Federal Work-Study eligibility.
• Able to work independently and follow directions.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key link and establish rapport with students and staff.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patrons.
• Assist with the center’s digital signage and programming tasks.
• Help manage events and programs at the center.
• Report maintenance issues to relevant staff.
• Act as 'Manager on Duty' during off hours.
