Job summary

Davenport University in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a (Student) Mail & Copy Services Assistant to support daily mailroom and copy center operations. You will provide friendly service to staff, faculty and visitors, handle mail and copy tasks, and assist with related projects in line with the university's values.

Qualifications include a minimum high school diploma or GED, and being enrolled half-time (6 undergraduate or 3 graduate credits).

Qualifications

Minimum High School diploma or GED.
Must be enrolled half time (6 credit hours as an Undergraduate and 3 credits as a Graduate).
Commitment to GREAT customer service.
Exhibit organizational skills and ability to accomplish goals.
Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Experience in office procedures, receptionist duties, and computer (Microsoft Office, Word and Excel) skills.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to staff, faculty, and visitors. Ensure everyone is greeted and assisted promptly.
Maintain working knowledge of and ability to perform on all copy and mail functions including working knowledge of all equipment.
Maintain strict confidentiality of information including student records.
Communicate openly and often with supervisor and other team members.
Keep office and supply areas neat and orderly.
Support department efforts and goals with knowledge of software programs used.
