Job summary

The University of Florida's Sponsored Student Billing team within the University Bursar, Finance & Accounting, seeks a detail-focused staff member on Main Campus in Gainesville. You will resolve complex student and sponsor payment issues, monitor aging on sponsor accounts, and assist during peak periods while delivering excellent customer service to students.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and strong Microsoft Office skills; the role is eligible for Veteran’s preference and supports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate files, records, and work assignments.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
• Experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to determine work priorities, assign work and ensure proper completion of work assignments.
• Ability to analyze and interpret accounting data.
