Montgomery College is seeking a Full-time Student Account Specialist I for the Rockville Campus, with work hours Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm. The role supports billing, holds, refunds, and electronic refunds, while ensuring PCI-DSS compliance and accurate financial records across campuses.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in a related field and has 2+ years in financial transactions in education or banking, plus strong Excel skills and customer service experience.

Qualifikationen

• Experience handling financial transactions or supporting student accounts.
• Customer service experience in a high-volume, multi-channel environment.
• Proficiency in reconciling cash and preparing deposit reports.

Aufgaben

• Accept and process student and departmental payments via cash, check, credit card, ACH, wire transfer, and online systems.
• Prepare and reconcile daily cashiering reports and secure deposits per procedures.
• Maintain accurate student and financial records per guidelines.
• Process returned checks, chargebacks, and declined payments; update records.
