Job summary

Holy Family University seeks a Financial Services Specialist to support the Student Accounts office with billing, payment processing, and related financial operations. You will work with students, parents, staff, and campus departments to ensure accurate billing and timely collection of tuition and fees, while learning both Student Accounts and Financial Aid processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting/related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial or administrative role, preferably in higher education.
• Experience with financial software systems (preferably Colleague) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Billing and payment processing, communicating statements, and recording payments by end of business day.
• Apply financial aid, scholarships, and third-party payments to student accounts and reconcile balances.
• Maintain accurate records and generate financial reports for student accounts and audits.
• Document every interaction with students in the Colleague system.
• Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable, Financial Aid, and other office personnel as needed.
• Respond to inquiries from students, parents, and staff within one business day.
