Responsibilities

• Answer questions regarding student accounts, such as account balances, payment options, financial holds, etc.
• Effectively communicate university policies and procedures related to student accounts
• Analyze and investigate accounts to determine accuracy; contact appropriate department or agency to verify validity of transactions
• Process third-party/sponsored student billing, including reviewing letters of credit (LOC), setting-up and maintain contracts, creating invoices, receipting related payments, and reconciling sponsor accounts
• Execute payment processes, including receipting payments on student accounts and departmental deposits, and daily reconciliation of cashiering sessions
• Process and maintain accurate and timely student accounts records
• Make outbound collection calls on delinquent student accounts
• Collaborate with other departments and divisions across campus
• Deliver presentations for the Student Accounts Office at various campus events
• Work with and train student workers
• Other duties as assigned by Student Accounts Leadership
