Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee is seeking a Student Connection & Achievement Manager for the Roberto Hernández Center. The role leads daily operations, supervises staff, and advances student engagement, belonging, and academic achievement among Latino/a/e students and other Center participants.

The position emphasizes assessment of programs, collaboration with campus partners, and community outreach to promote retention and success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Higher Education, Education, Student Affairs, Social Work, Ethnic Studies, Public Administration, Human Services, or a related field.
• Three or more years of professional experience in higher education, student affairs, multicultural affairs, student success, community engagement, or a related field.
• Experience supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Roberto Hernández Center and lead student services.
• Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate professional staff, graduate assistants, student employees, and interns.
• Develop assessment practices to evaluate program effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
