The Parchment School District seeks a Student Support Interventionist to collaborate with the SRO and School Counselor to implement PBIS and restorative strategies that improve attendance and behavior. You will coordinate attendance and behavior plans, conduct outreach, and connect families with community resources to support student success.

This grant-funded role emphasizes teamwork with teachers, families, and administration to foster positive student outcomes and safe learning environments.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with school-age children.
• Familiarity with restorative behavior interventions and PBIS.
• Must maintain CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification.
• Working understanding of PBIS plans and implementation.
• Effective communication with various stakeholders.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Ability to plan and evaluate behavior improvement strategies.
• Be a reflective practitioner and learner advocate.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates with SRO and counselor to address attendance issues.
• Develops and submits attendance and tardy reports to leadership for review.
• Creates attendance/behavior plans with families and reviews regularly.
• Conducts outreach events and home visits to support intervention plans.
• Connects families to resources for behavior and attendance needs.
• Supports teachers and families to identify and address academic needs.
• Assist with eighth-grade transition planning to high school.
• Engages parents in the intervention plan and provides skills to support positive behavior.
