Job summary

Siloam Springs School District seeks a Behavior Interventionist Paraprofessional to support students with behavioral needs under the direction of building leadership.

The role collaborates with the Building Administration and district Behavior Analyst, participates in RTI2 activities, and helps implement evidence-based behavior intervention services to promote student engagement and success.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with behavioral needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in RTI2 framework implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create effective behavior management programs.
• Follow Student Support Plans and collect data as needed.
• Provide consultation with teachers and administrators on behavioral issues.
• Collaborate with the School Intervention Team to develop plans and interventions.
• Participate in instructional team meetings to identify Tier II interventions.
• Participate in School Intervention Team meetings to identify Tier III interventions.
• Maintain current knowledge of behavioral intervention practices.
