Job summary

SouthPoint Financial Credit Union in New Ulm, MN is seeking a Student Member Advisor for our branch. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service while guiding members through digital banking tools, loans, deposits and transfers, and assisting in special projects to support community growth.

The position is casual/seasonal, with hours Monday–Friday and rotating Saturdays, offering a flexible entry into the credit union environment and opportunities to learn across channels.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and professional interaction.
• Experience handling member transactions.
• Able to assist via in-person, phone, and digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and drive-thru customers.
• Perform member transactions: deposits, withdrawals, transfers.
• Educate members on digital banking tools and enrollment.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Resolve member questions and complaints and follow up as needed.
