Job summary

SouthPoint Financial Credit Union is seeking a Part-time Member Advisor in Waconia, MN to deliver a seamless, in‑person and digital member experience. You will greet members, build relationships, and guide them through accounts, loans, and digital tools.

The role emphasizes needs-based sales, digital banking education, and exceptional service. We value teamwork, accuracy, and adaptability in a fast-paced branch environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
• 2-3 years of customer service experience, with 1-2 years of lending preferred.
• Professional and effective communication skills.
• Effective time management and critical thinking skills.
• Intermediate computer and digital banking technology skills (able to utilize multiple systems simultaneously and support members with digital banking tools and services).

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members and non-members into the branch and drive-through areas.
• Build long-lasting relationships by understanding member needs.
• Improve the member experience through each interaction and help members succeed.
• Review financial data and member credit files and recommend consumer loan solutions.
• Advise on products and services to meet members' needs offered by the Credit Union.
• Open new accounts, perform inquiries, issue debit cards, and assist with online/mobile banking.
• Educate members on digital tools and self-service options.
• Resolve member issues and document problems for follow-up and satisfaction.
• Uphold Bank Secrecy Act responsibilities.
