American University is seeking a Student Athletics Facilities & Operations Assistant to support daily operations of athletic facilities, competitions, practices, and events. This role provides hands-on experience in facilities management while collaborating with athletics staff, coaches, and campus partners.

Ideal candidates are AU students with an active FWS award, available 5–15 hours weekly, and prepared to assist with setup, event logistics, and equipment handling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Federal Work Study (FWS) award required.
• Enrolled American University student.
• Part-time availability 5–15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist with game-day and event operations, including setup and support during competitions and events.
• Set up and tear down athletic facilities for games and practices.
• Assist with facility preparation, equipment, signage, seating, tables, and other event needs.
• Manage and maintain inventory of athletics-owned equipment and supplies.
• Ensure athletic spaces are clean, organized, safe, and event-ready.
