Job summary

Levy Sector at University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Student Athlete Dining Cook to prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for student-athletes on campus. You will work in a fast-paced team environment, following standardized recipes and safety guidelines to deliver timely service.

Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with pay ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, plus a $5 premium on football gamedays.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience required with understanding of kitchen operations.
• Must have or be willing to complete ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
• Must have or be willing to complete Alcohol Safety Certification.
• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality meals according to recipes and schedules.
• Serve meals and ensure proper portioning and temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with team to deliver consistent, quality meals.
