Job summary

Levy Restaurants is hiring a Student Athlete Dining Cook at University of Wisconsin–Madison (Camp Randall Stadium & Kohl Center Arena). The role prepares nutritious meals for student-athletes, adhering to high culinary standards and relevant regulations.

Start date is as soon as possible, with shifts from 4am-12pm, 7am-3pm, or 2pm-10pm. Competitive pay ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, plus a $5 per hour football gameday premium.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience is required.
• Must have or be willing to complete ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
• Must have Alcohol Safety Certification or be willing to obtain it.
• Positive attitude and teamwork are essential.
• Physical ability to lift and move 50 lbs.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality meals according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare items for delivery, ensuring correct portions and temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and proper storage practices.
• Keep refrigerators, storerooms, and kitchen spaces clean and well-organized.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance needs immediately.
• Attend safety meetings to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
