Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking a Student Assistant to support the Health Sciences and Professional Education division with clerical tasks, phone handling, data entry, and scheduling. The role serves as a pool for temporary assignments on an as-needed basis.

You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department express interest in scheduling an interview. An application is valid for one year and may require reapplication to remain in the pool.

Responsibilities

• Maintain scheduled office hours and assist with daily office operations as determined by supervisor.
• Answer phones, take messages, transfer calls.
• Schedule advising appointments.
• Direct students to appropriate program departments.
• Assist Dean and Dean’s Assistant with special office projects.
