Del Mar College is seeking a Student Assistant for the Mathematics Department to provide clerical support and help with routine office tasks. The position requires the applicant to be a current Del Mar College student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours, and offers an hourly wage of $8.00.

This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill Student Assistant assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. The purpose of this position is to provide clerical assistance to the Mathematics Departmental office.
Start date will be 8/22/2022.
Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
General office knowledge of answering phones, faxing, scanning, photocopying, data entry and filing.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs.
Punctuality and dependability.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Willingness to be a team player.
Ability to complete clerical duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
Friendly disposition on the phone or in person.
