Job summary

Motlow State Community College in Smyrna is seeking a Program Manager to lead a comprehensive student advocacy and resource program. You will oversee case management, coordinate campus and community referrals, and advocate for student needs to remove barriers to achievement.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years in higher education; a master’s in a related field and five years of experience are preferred. Salary ranges announced.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, psychology, social work, higher ed administration, student affairs, or related field.
• At least three years of higher education experience.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in related field and five years in student affairs or advocacy services within higher education.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic planning for student advocacy and resource initiatives.
• Coordinate hiring of student workers and staff liaisons.
• Develop policies to support students facing food/housing insecurity, financial difficulties.
• Serve as advocate ensuring access to resources and accommodations.
• Oversee case management and referrals to campus/community resources.
