Job summary

The College Internship Program (CIP) in Lee, MA seeks a full-time Student Advisor. You will partner with students, families, and professionals to guide independence, acting as liaison across CIP functions. This onsite role reports to the Head Student Advisor.

Expect a highly scheduled environment with possible longer hours, some weekends, and minimal travel; the role entails moderate physical activity and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field is required.
• Proficient with office software and quick learner of new technologies.
• 2 years of autism/learning disabilities experience at the higher education level preferred.
• Special education or advising background, especially at the higher education level, preferred.
• Active Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Write and coordinate Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and Semi-Annual Progress reports.
• Prepare and facilitate periodic meetings with students and parents.
• Communicate with student families regarding progress and schedule changes.
• Assist students with banking/money management and monitor monthly budgets.
• Lead Team Review Meetings and share student progress weekly.
