• Creates processes and records all receipts and checks; reconcile student activities with bank and city statements; create and distribute reports.

TITLE: Student Activity Account Monitor (2) Positions - MHS

ASSIGNMENT: Methuen High School

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School graduate with not less than two (2) years' experience as Bookkeeper and computer background with extensive experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access or any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, services and abilities to perform the duties of the position.

OVERVIEW:

Under the direction and supervision of the respective School Principal; the Student Activities Monitor oversees the financial operation of the Student Activity Account. With the building principal and other associate building administrators the monitor implements and follows School Committee policy for the timely and accurate operation of all student activity funds under the jurisdiction of the Student Activities Account.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Job Duties

• Receives cash and checks for deposits

• Reconcile student activities account with bank and city of Methuen statements on a periodic and consistent basis
• Creates and distributes reports for all student activities participants on a periodic and consistent basis

STIPEND:

$9,000 ($6,000 and $5,000)
