Job summary

Methuen Public Schools is seeking a Student Activity Account Monitor for Tenney, Timony, Marsh, and CGS. You will maintain accurate financial records for student activities and coordinate deposits with the City Treasurer to support audit readiness.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least two years of bookkeeping experience, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access. The stipend is $8,000, paid in two installments.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Access or equivalent software.

Responsibilities

• Receive cash and checks for deposits.
• Verify and process deposits with City Treasurer.
• Record all transactions in financial software with journals for receipts and expenditures.
• Create processes and records for all receipts and checks.
• Reconcile student activities account with bank and city statements.
• Create and distribute reports for student activities participants.
