Job summary

Applitrack is seeking an Activity Sponsor at Proviso East High School to organize, supervise, and promote a student club aligned with district goals. You will mentor students, coordinate with staff, and ensure a safe, inclusive extracurricular experience in a non-tenure, extra-duty role.

Willingness to take responsibility for all duties and duties involved.

Responsibilities

Provide active supervision for all club-related activities, ensuring safety and compliance.
Ensure off-campus activities are approved and transportation/permits are in order.
Maintain mandated reporter obligations under Illinois law.
Guide students and provide constructive feedback to support development.
Coordinate logistics and facility usage for events.
Promote student involvement and positive interpersonal relationships.
Support students' academic balance with extracurricular involvement.
Enforce academic eligibility per IHSA and district policy.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders about club operations.
