Job summary

Berkeley City College is seeking a Short Term Hourly Program Specialist within the Student Services division to coordinate a spectrum of student activities and events. The role involves advising student groups, managing budgets, and ensuring policies are followed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in social sciences, business, or related field and 1 year experience with young adults or adults in social activities.
Experience in staff roles leading, motivating, and working with adult students is desirable.

Responsibilities

Coordinate college-wide student activities including welcome events, commencements, and social, cultural, and recreational activities.
Coordinate Office of Student Activities and its services (ID cards, lost and found).
Manage finances for Associated Students and assist in budgeting and reporting.
Advise student groups, organizations, and advisors; support leadership and resource development.
Develop annual calendar of student activities and monitor Associated Students budget.
