Job summary

Long Beach Community College District is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Student Affairs Program Coordinator. This 12‑month eligibility list position supports Student Health Services, Student Life, and related campus programming outside of the classroom, ensuring events comply with district policies and laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, social sciences, natural sciences, business, public health, health education or a closely related field.
• Two years of increasingly responsible experience in student life programming.
• Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, post‑secondary administration or a closely related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programs and services in Student Affairs to support Student Health Services and Student Life.
• Ensure events and services comply with district policies, laws, regulations and codes.
• Provide administrative coverage for the program area.
• Support college-wide, student-centered, and health and wellness programming for students.

Education
