Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, business, or related field with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Understanding and respect for diverse backgrounds of students, faculty, staff and community.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate college-wide student activities and events.
• Coordinate the Office of Student Activities and its services (e.g., student IDs, lost and found).
• Coordinate management of finances for Associated Students.
• Coordinate, support and advise student groups, organizations and advisors.
• Collaborate in establishing student activity program goals and objectives.
• Contribute to community awareness by connecting activities to events.
• Attend student meetings and conferences related to Associated Students.
• Accompany students to local and statewide activities and conferences.
• Develop and maintain annual calendar of student activities events.
• Develop and monitor the Associated Students annual budget with the Treasurer.
• Interpret and implement college policies related to student activities.
• Recruit new faculty sponsors for student clubs.
• Survey student needs and recommend programs to administration.
• Assist in advising Associated Students’ board meetings.
• Assist in Program Review for Student Activities.
• Assist in planning training workshops and campus-wide events.
• Assist in establishing student policies as directed by administration.
• Verify eligibility of candidates for student body offices.
