Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient with student information systems, databases, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Committed to customer service and quality work.
• Discretion with confidential information and ability to counsel students compassionately.
• Self-reliant, proactive, and positive.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions regarding student accounts, such as balances and payment options.
• Communicate university policies and procedures related to student accounts.
• Analyze and investigate accounts to verify accuracy; contact relevant departments.
• Process third-party/sponsored billing, including letters of credit and invoices.
• Execute payment processes and daily reconciliation of cashiering sessions.
• Maintain accurate and timely student accounts records.
• Make outbound collection calls on delinquent accounts.
• Collaborate with departments across campus; deliver presentations.
• Work with and train student workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Student Accounts Leadership.
