Job summary

Niagara University is seeking a Student Accounts Operations Manager to oversee the daily billing process, disbursement of financial aid, and refunds. The role supervises two staff and partners with multiple departments to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

The position requires leadership in counseling students and families on financing options, holds, and payment plans, as well as managing the TouchNet and Colleague systems to ensure accurate billing.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal customer service skills and written communication abilities.
• Experience interpreting and explaining complex policies to customers under pressure.
• Knowledge of basic math and accounting to verify tuition payments and collections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing process and disbursement of financial aid.
• Lead and supervise two staff members in the Student Accounts Office.

• Maintain billing tables and troubleshoot billing rules in Colleague/TouchNet.
