Manhattan College seeks an Associate Director to direct student accounts, oversee delinquent balances, and coordinate billing systems across Banner, Touchnet and related platforms. This on-campus role includes counseling students and families on payment options and managing hold/deferral processes.

This position also oversees third-party billing, refunds, eRefunds, and compliance with Title IV requirements, while coordinating with various programs and services within the college.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in student accounts, accounts receivable, bursar operations, or higher education financial services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to think critically and perform complex tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with co-workers.
• Must be able to work some evenings and weekends.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate all aspects of students' accounts, accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Counsel students and families on financing/payment options, account holds, collections, refunds, and Title IV aid Book Voucher process.
• Manage Banner Accounts Receivable, BDMS, Banner Communications Manager, and Touchnet configurations; oversee Bill+Payment setup.
• Handle billing approvals for registrations, late enrollment, past-due holds, hold clearance, and special invoicing for employer reimbursement.
• Process tuition discounts/waivers and reconcile Federal Perkins Loan Program.
• Oversee third party billing and special programs including Study Abroad, International Student programs, Veterans Benefits and AP Teacher Workshop.
• Perform reconciliations of Finance accounts.
