Southern Arkansas University seeks a Finance & Administration - Student Accounts Graduate Assistant. The role involves front-line customer service for student accounts via in-person, phone, and email communications, handling charges, payments, holds, refunds, scholarships, and 1098T forms.

The GA will file and scan student account records and assist students and parents professionally while working about 20 hours per week during the academic year. Renewal for one additional year is possible.

Qualifications

• Must be accepted into one of the Graduate Programs at Lander University prior to starting.
• Graduate Assistants work approximately 20 hours per week during the school year.
• Compensation includes tuition and fee waiver and stipend.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line customer service to the Student Accounts office via in-person, phone, and email contact with students, parents, and sponsors.
• Provide accurate information about charges, payments, payment plans, holds, refunds, scholarships, third-party payments, and 1098T tax forms.
• File and scan student account information as necessary.
• Assist students and parents in a professional manner.
