Job summary

Batten University seeks a Director of Student Accounts to lead billing, accounts receivable, collections, refunds, cashiering and related financial services for students. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you will supervise staff, optimize processes, ensure Title IV compliance, and partner with IT and campus offices to improve the student financial experience.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in finance or accounting, 5–7 years in Student Accounts Receivable, 3–5 years of staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of Student Accounts Receivable experience.
  • 3–5 years of staff/operations management experience.
  • Excellent customer service in a complex environment.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to federal aid programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Student Accounts Receivable Office operations and ensure timely collection.
  • Oversee accurate billing for students and third-party accounts.
  • Manage cashiering, refunds, and compliance with Title IV requirements.
  • Coordinate billing schedules with campus offices and partners.
  • Oversee eBill, ePay, and eRefund services via TouchNet.
