Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada's Disability Resource Center seeks dependable student employees to support accessibility services and campus inclusion. Roles include academic access support, testing proctoring, technology assistance, and front-desk tasks under trained supervision.

Responsibilities emphasize confidentiality, FERPA compliance, and professional conduct, with training provided. These student employees will work up to 20 hours per week at the West Charleston campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CSN enrollment meeting student-employment criteria (FWS eligibility when required).
• Demonstrated dependability, organization, attention to detail, and ability to follow strict procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse populations.
• Respect for privacy and civil rights of individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow DRC procedures and instructions, seek guidance when unclear.
• Maintain accurate records of work, attendance, testing activity, or incidents.
• Protect student records and confidential information per FERPA/ADA/504.
• Refer issues to DRC staff promptly and professionally.
• Communicate schedule changes or barriers to staff.
