Job summary

College of Southern Nevada seeks part-time Accommodation Service Providers for the Henderson Campus and other locations. Responsibilities include attending classes with students, reading material aloud, taking notes, and proctoring exams under approved accommodations.

Role supports students with disabilities under ADA/Section 504 and requires attention to confidentiality and testing procedures. Flexible shifts across multiple campuses are possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, ideally with some post-secondary exposure.
• Ability to take organized notes using technology in classroom settings.
• Clear written and verbal communication; legible handwriting and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Take notes in class on one or multiple campuses (on-site or virtual).
• Read printed material or tests aloud for students with visual impairments.
• Scribe or transcribe for mobility-impaired students.
• Provide readers or notes for students with visual impairments.
• Assist in labs with instructor guidance.
• Proctor exams and ensure testing protocols and accommodations.
• Administer accommodated exams per procedures.
• Monitor testing environments and document irregularities.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
