Job summary

HNTB is seeking an engineering intern for our Ohio offices to support structural projects. You will assist engineering teams with basics of design, CAD drawings, and documentation, while gaining exposure to transportation and infrastructure work.

The role emphasizes learning shop drawing procedures, applying basic calculations, and collaborating with peers and supervisors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Understands engineering, geometric and algebraic principles at a basic level.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to take direction from peers and supervisors.
• Familiar with introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
