Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Structural Intern to contribute to design and analysis of bridges and infrastructure projects. You will work with senior engineers to evaluate requirements, perform structural calculations, and assist in creating drawings, estimates, and construction documents.

You will participate in site visits, gather data, and help develop design reports while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive structural design elements.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program and meeting basic prerequisites.
• Understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations and organize information for drawings.
