Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Structured Finance Associate to join the US team in Chicago. You will build and update financial models for tax equity transactions, coordinate with external consultants, and manage information flow across the business.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in financial modeling or quantitative roles, a strong problem‑solving mindset, and excellent Excel/PowerPoint skills, with interest in renewables and a team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or other analytical/quantitative field required.
• 1+ year experience building, maintaining or utilizing complex financial models, ideally for energy or renewable energy projects.
• 1+ year experience in a fast paced finance environment with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills with advanced Excel formulas.
• Knowledge of renewable energy project economics and related incentive systems.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset with communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Financial modeling – updating models for tax equity transactions and other financing arrangements with inputs from various business teams.
• Diligence – manage investor diligence with external consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare internal and external presentation materials for stakeholders.
• Provide finance support to Structured Finance modeling and related tasks.
