RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Tax Manager to support U.S. tax planning across renewables and gas generation assets.

You will contribute on tax equity investments, credit transfers, and structured transactions, while mentoring juniors and coordinating with external advisors. The role requires strong knowledge of Sections 45/48/45Y/48E, FEOC rules, and state/federal planning, with exposure to M&A and tax provision work.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
• Minimum 5 years of tax experience, including partnerships and/or tax credit investments.
• Advanced knowledge of tax law with experience managing workstreams for complex tax matters.
• Experience with corporate and partnership income tax.
• Strong technical writing including tax memos and internal docs.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze tax implications of joint venture partnerships, tax equity structures, and tax credit transfers.
• Structure and execute transactions under Sections 45, 48, 45Y, and 48E; analyze credit eligibility and phase-out rules.
• Perform beginning-of-construction analysis and track project milestones.
• Assess FEOC restrictions and improper foreign entity rules.
• Build tax models and partner with Finance/Valuation teams on modeling.
• Review inputs and challenge projections for long-term plans.
• Prepare technical memos and internal documentation.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, procurement, and operations on tax planning.
