Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC in Illinois is seeking a Structured Finance Associate to join the US Structured Finance team. You will build financial models, perform financial analysis, and coordinate with investors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to execute tax equity financing and related transactions.

The role requires at least a year in financial modeling, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and a passion for renewables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or other analytical/quantitative field.
• Minimum 1 year experience building, maintaining or utilizing complex financial models.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a fast paced finance environment with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills with advanced Excel formulas.
• Knowledgeable of renewable energy project economics and related incentive systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Financial modeling – update models for tax equity transactions and other financing arrangements with inputs from various business teams.
• Diligence – manage investor diligence with external consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare internal and external presentation materials for stakeholders.
• Provide finance support to other teams including QA reviews and ad-hoc analysis.
