Job summary

Santander USA's CIB Structured Finance team seeks an Associate to help originate, structure, and distribute syndicated loans for corporate and government clients. You will model financials, prepare offering materials, and support due diligence.

The role requires 5+ years in related roles, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel as needed. A Bachelor's degree and proficiency with MS Office are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through work experience/education.
• 5+ years in Business Development, Product Specialist Management, or related experience.
• Demonstrated successful execution of syndicated loan transactions.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel within assigned territory as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of financial models and underwriting criteria for origination activities.
• Produce offering memoranda and engagement letters.
• Participate in transaction due diligence and market research.
