Job summary

Banco Santander SA seeks an Associate for CLO Structuring in the United States. You will assist in origination, structuring, and execution of CLO warehouses and transactions, coordinating with internal and external teams to drive successful closings.

The role requires strong quantitative skills, CLO exposure, and proficiency in Excel/Intex, with opportunities to grow market presence and client relationships within a fast-paced trading desk environment.

Qualifications

• Prior CLO structuring/banking experience is strongly preferred or exposure to CLOs.
• Extensive exposure to CLO documents, Intex, and CLO rating models.
• Strong quantitative and/or technical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support origination, structuring, and execution of CLO warehouses and CLO new issues, resets, and refinancings.
• Structure and model CLO transactions using Excel, Intex, and rating agency software.
• Build and run CLO cash flow models and prepare investor materials.
• Analyze CLO collateral portfolios and compute key metrics for marketing and structuring.
• Prepare warehouse termsheets, internal memos, deal materials, and pitch books.
• Coordinate timelines with CLO managers, legal teams, syndicate, and rating agencies.
• Monitor warehouse activity including asset approvals, funding, and reconciliations.
