Job summary

Santander is seeking an experienced CLO Structuring Associate to join the Securitized Products Trading Desk in the United States. You will participate in the origination, structuring, and execution of CLO warehouses and CLO transactions from inception to closing.

You will structure and model CLO transactions using Excel, Intex, and rating agency software, build cash flow models, analyze collateral portfolios, and prepare materials for marketing and rating agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience with CLO structuring/banking or related CLO exposure.
• Strong quantitative/technical skills and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word (MS Office).
• Certifications: SIE, Series 7 and 63 are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support origination, structuring, and execution of CLO warehouses and CLO new issues, resets, and refinancings.
• Structure and model CLO transactions using Excel, Intex, and Rating Agency software.
• Build and run CLO cash flow models and produce transaction analysis for marketing, execution, and rating agency analysis.
• Analyze CLO collateral portfolios including computing key metrics to guide structuring.
• Prepare warehouse termsheets, internal memos, deal marketing materials, and pitch books.
• Coordinate transaction timelines with CLO managers, internal/external counsel, syndicate, and rating agencies.
• Assist in monitoring CLO warehouse activity including asset approvals, fundings, and reconciliations.
• Expand structuring expertise and build client relationships for CLO origination.
